As December draws to a close, we reflect on the critical issues for which clients have sought our professional counsel.  In this 2007 Year in Review, we share a sampling of the matters for which we provided a broad range of strategic communications counsel and services.  From children's safety matters and recalls to white collar criminal cases to corporate acquisition communications, we are honored to be entrusted to provide strategic communications counsel for our clients' most critical issues.

We have also included examples of our presentations and publications, as well as our work in the community.

Our Client Work
  • Children's product safety: Communications strategy and media relations regarding lead in children's products and national recall of toy magnets.
  • Issues advocacy:  American and Western European media campaign on behalf of global computer trade association, to raise visibility of complex industry licensing and sales issues, including European Fair Trade claims.
  • Class action litigation: Ongoing counsel to global manufacturer and distributor sued in multi-billion dollar class action related to tainted food.
  • Vaccine storage: Comprehensive communications counsel, planning and media relations concerning improperly stored vaccines and medical provider's public announcement of revaccination program.
  • Reputation rehabilitation: Multiple matters involving rehabilitating the reputations of high-profile professionals following unfavorable print and broadcast news coverage, publication of false and misleading statements, internet blog gossip and nationally publicized legal proceedings.
  • White-collar criminal matters: Multiple high-profile white collar criminal matters involving federal allegations of fraud and tax evasion.
  • Acquisition of foreign corporation: Strategic counsel, internal and external communications for publicly-traded equipment manufacturer's acquisition of Chinese company.
